Give Away Win And Another Shabby Find!

(Ha-ha-ha! Click to enlarge this picture and you'll see a nicely enlarged "me" reflected in the ornaments! Ha-ha!) I won my first give away! Can you celebrate with me? When I first learned about blog give aways, I was hooked! I was just blown away by the generosity of the bloggin' girls!
I'm just like a little girl when I receive a present! I giggle and even clap my hands! I just love presents! Maybe it's because I'm just a girl at heart.
Anyway, I won a Pink Linens give away, hosted by sweet Candy.Doesn't Candy have nice hand writing? I'm only showing you the envelope because I'm going to wait until Christmas to open it! Ha-ha! So you'll have to wait just like me to see what's in that envelope!

And now look at this, Girls! Another Goodwill linen's bin reward! Who would have thought that this Simply Shabby Chic shower curtain would be in there with all those twisted bottom sheets, plastic place mats and even an occasional empty pop can? I thought it was a sheet at first- so nice and thick but then I saw the top with the plastic holes for the shower curtain hooks. I originally thought I would cut it all up and make "Shabby" crafts to sell but this solution is much quicker and easier- is it not?

Add this yummy pillow case and Wa-la! Instant cottage charm for my cozy chair!

Oh, this find cost me $2.00. Not sure what it was at Target but it probably *wasn't* $2.00!

Merry Christmas, girls! I'm off this morning to do Christmas shopping for Micah!

Nice find again!! And oh I can't wait to see what your giveaway win is. Please oh please open it today. The suspense is too much. It must be something pink. Don't you want to see it? You can always wrap it back up and open it Christmas.> That's what I would do. Open it today. Show us, and hey you might want to wear it, or decorate with it, or just love it!!

Ha-ha, Gin! I already saw what it was on Candy's blog when she originally had the give away and I was going to direct you all there so you could see it, too but she has removed that post! Ha-ha! Well, I remember that it was a package of pretty pink linens, but no, I will wait till Christmas morning to open it. I'm even going to wrap it up! Hee! I'm so pitiful!

Thanks for your sweet comment this morning; I still can't believe I passed!!

You were rewarded for digging in the bin! Beautiful! Awww-I don't want to wait till Christmas to see what's in the envelope! Guess I'll just have to be patient. Have a fun day! Twyla

Hi Kelly and Twyla! Thanks for coming by.

I had to come home from shopping and take a nap! Ha! Shopping 2 days in a row is NOT a common occurance for me.

I don't think I've ever gone through the linens bin and not been rewarded with something of worth. Much patience *is* required, though!

Have a good day girls!

Holly I would love to see your tote with the vintage repro scottie dog fabric. I just love it. And a lot of people seem to like it too.

That is awesom that you found the SC curtain for only two dollars at Goodwill. I occasionally will find some of RA stuff but my Goodwill has gone up in price. That shower curtain would have been more like four or six dollars. Every once in awhile I find a gem, Vera Bradley bag unrealized or RA sheets or my favorite, vintage tablecloths!

Have a wonderful day. Your girly blog is comming along nicely. I really like the pics of your tree. It is actually pretty neat. I have some photos like that from a music festival. I kept them because I liked how it looked. hugs, Ellen

Thanks, Queenie! The shower curtain part hangs in the back where no one can see it. It's so perfect for the chair and the room!
