Before It Hits The File!

Hi sweet girls! I thought it would be fun to show you what I clipped recently for my decorating file!
I love this Pink/White combo with the rustic thrown in. I decorate my house each Spring with blooms from my flowering trees and bushes but I never thought of placing a container on the floor like this and using such large branches. I have 2 apple trees and I think I will cut a limb from one this year to copy this idea. Or maybe I'll cut from my Plum, Pear, Lilac, Pink Flowering Almond, Forsythia, Spirea... ☺ I love Spring!

thats a great idea! brian and the boys got me a flowering pear tree 2 years ago for mother's day but its so pitiful looking and hasn't bloomed yet. i don't know if it will make it; so sad:( i so wanted to have it bloom and then look so pretty in our yard!!

I love your inspiration page. I, too, love the rustic with dainty style. I am envious of you having such nice fruit trees. We have none, but I did pick up a 'bouquet' of limbs from our yard and put them in a pitcher. It looks real pretty. Hope you have a fantastic day! Twyla

Hi, Jenny! You were the first visitor of the day and I didn't even know it! I've got to remember to look for you! ☺

I love Lilacs, too. ♥ I once lived on a farm that had 20 some Lilac bushes! I loved it. My house had blooms in every room! I also lived in another house that had once been overgrown by wild Lilacs and every year I would have to grub out the shoots from all around the foundation! It was incredible! Wild Lilacs are very tenacious.

Nighty night!

Hi, Koleen! Thanks for leaving a comment. ♥

I'm getting so excited about Spring, too! It can come early here in Virginia. when i lived in Texas, I had a baby girl pink camilia bush that bloomed in Feb!

Hi Holly... Your post makes me want Spring to hurry up more than ever... I am a Lilac~Lover too, actually, I am insane over Lilacs and wish I had a bush so I could bring some into our home... sadly I do not own one... The scent of Lilacs has to be one of the most calming and awesome things in the world to me... I honestly believe that Heaven will smell like a massive grove of Lilacs... Ahhhhh, such are dreams...

God bless...

Poor Pearl! No Lilac bush?! I think every place I've ever lived has had one- even in town! Well, no, not in Texas because they don't grow there. :< But in Texas I had lots of other flowering bushes and trees. I think a yard looks so lonely with out flowering bushes. ☺
