The Green Green Grass Of Home

Girls, I'm tired of seeing *this*! I want to see this again! (Although I *do* want to paint the outhouse/pool house.)

I want to see *this* when I go on my morning walks!

I want to see Green grass, leaves and colorful flowers out front!

I want to see Micah and Bobby playing in the side yard with family and friends! (That's my Christopher home for a visit.) Look at all those green trees! See Pearis mountain? I climbed that!

Good things come to those who wait! Right?!

I know that once the heat, humidity and gnats of Summer are back, I'll be longing for cooler temps! If only life could be all Spring and Fall- no Winter or Summer. But that's not life, girls! At least not where *I* live. ☺ So, I guess we should just roll with the punches and snap back up on our feet ready for another Winter day- and wait. (I'll be waiting in bed with a sinus infection.)
And, I plan to be back on Friday to show you a recent project. until then, try to stay warm and take one day at a time. ♥

I know how you feel, because I have the winter blues. I miss having my windows open and breathing fresh air. Spring will be here soon (I hope).

Isn't it funny that Lindsey and I get so excited when it snows? But then, we don't get it very often and if we had it all the time we'd probably wish it would go away. I do look forward to spring. Shedding these heavy clothes that are keeping me warm and getting out my Birkenstocks. Oh yes, can't wait to start wearing my favorite shoes again. Hang in there, Holly, spring is coming. I am praying your sinus infection goes away! Twyla

I do hope you feel better soon sinus infections are no fun at all, and I wish I could send you some aussie heat but I must admit I'm not fond of summer I live our winters though it doesn't get too cold just nice to snuggle up to at night.

Take care and it was lovely to meet you. Be blessed & don't be a stranger :)

Hey Holly,
All of the greenery will soon be back again....and when it does, it will feel like it happens overnight.... Spring is just around the corner...hang in there everybody!
I sure hope you get well soon from the sinus infection. I was sick last week, with the same bad cold Ryan had last week. I'm feeling better this week. I am glad to hear that Micah is on the mend.
That Pearis Mountain is so pretty and so is your yard and country home! Hope you get better soon...
big hugs,

Hi Holly, That snow fall is so pretty, but I can imagine you have had enough. The summer pics look so inspiring for good weather to come. Sorry to hear you have a sinus infection. Take care and feel better soon.

I'm right there with you Holly. I am so ready for winter to go away and for spring to get here. As I write this, Minnesota is in the midst of another snow storm with up to 8 inches predicted by morning. Yuk!! Think happy thoughts and enjoy the rest of your week.
