Birthday Girl Fun

Hello, sweet friends! Here's part of what I sent off to my grandgirl Elizabeth for her 5th birthday. I won the cupcake towel in a give away I joined with Noelle but it's been calling to Elizabeth ever since I got it! Her mom said that it can hang in her little play kitchen. Here's a sweet embroidered pillow for her doll and a now the bag is full of fun girly things like pom poms, buttons, candy hearts, ribbon and ???

I rolled these baby doll clothes up and put them in the purse.

For those of you who have daughters, this is probably no big deal, but for me... FUN!
Micah and I are hoping to have our friends over again today. It will be a beautiful day to run outside, hike and climb trees! (I'll skip the trees part!)
I didn't get to start on my wreath yesterday but I did make a big chicken and sausage gumbo for my Cajun man! It makes him so happy. ☺
Do you all like my new back ground? I think it's perfect for Girls At Heart. I saw it at Lori's first but then she quit using it so I asked if she minded if I used it. It does something for me... Not sure what.
I'm also not sure if I'll be posting tomorrow or not. It depends on what the guys do with their "week end".

Well, I have 2 sons so I know how much fun it is girly gift giving. I absolutely love to shop for my niece Haley, and sometimes find it hard to stop :-)

The gifts are beautiful. I am sure she will love them!!

Hope you have a good day at school, Noelle!

Last time our friends were supposed to come over they ended up having to cancell but it turned out to be a rainy day anyway so it was no big deal. But I do hope they can come today.

Glad your snow melted. We had a frost last night but no snow. Whew!

So... are you expecting another swap package in the mail or something? ☺ ♥

Good morning, Melinda! Glad you can relate. Since i have 4 boys, this girl stuff is really fun!

But I do try really hard *not* to be one of those gramma's who give so much stuff to the kids that it makes the mom crazy. My son lives in a 2 BD apartment with no storage so my daughter in law really limits the kid's toys!

Have a great day! ♥

Thanks, Diane! ♥ Hope you're having a lovely morning full of love!

I love the new pink and blue background, it is perfect for you!

Your granddaughter is going to love her package and I think the cupcake towel is perfect for her play kitchen. I got ER some cute ones to hang on her stove and she really likes them. When they got washed last time, Brad hung one up in our kitchen by mistake and there was one very upset toddler to deal with!

Ha-ha, Twyla! Oh! The sight or smell of gumbo in the morning is nauseating to me! ♥

thats really cute. For a little girl that just turned 4 in C's preschool class I made her a beautiful picnic basket with millinery, pearls and velvet trim that I added on top and filled it to the brim with picnic goodies. It turned out so cute I dint want to give it to her hahaha

Holly said...

Hi, Priscila!!! So good to see you1 Wish you could come over more often! ♥

Aw, I bet that basket was pretty. Did you take pics of it? I really haven't made anything for Elizabeth yet except I gave her some of my ribbon chains that were already made.

Hope you have a happy day!
