The Green Report ~ Wink ~

Ladies, were' here in Virginia bringing you the latest U.S. Green Report! Here with us now is green enthusiast, Holly from Girls at Heart!

Holly, can you tell us what we're seeing here?

Yes! Just yesterday, this Green was spotted right here in my own yard on my very own Spirea bush! I know it's just a matter of days now and the whole country side will burst forth with spring praise!

Thank you for your enthusiasm, Holly.

Well ladies, you heard it here first!

Until next time, this is Mopsy Cottontail reporting for the THINK SPRING network.

Mornin' beautiful Noelle! I just love your profile pic with your jewelry! I hope you'll wear an up- do for your wedding!

Rain is coming our way too but we need it. The New River is low and Mountain Lake has turned into a mud puddle. Do you know about Mountain Lake? It's where much of the movie Dirty Dancing was filmed. It's not far from where I live.

You know what's funny? I have a bulb coming up that wasn't there last year! It looks like it will be a tulip but I don't know where it came from! It must have been DEEP in the ground and now the frost heaved it up!

See, with the sun comes the chatting! Look out everyone!

My hair is at the same stage! I can't do anything with it even after having it trimmed and shapped! Oh, well, I'm glad my hair grows fast. Yeah, I saw that you got your gown! Yay! I bet this Summer will zoom by for you!

Holly, I love your sense of humor! It is exciting to see the green! Hope you have another nice warm day today. It will be warm here today, but cold is coming back toward the end of the week. Twyla

Mornin' again, Twyla! My sense of humor is a bit corny but I have fun and that's what counts!

Well, I had to start a fire this morning but that's okay. We had a good amount of warmth to last us a few days.

Bobby is on his way home from work with a sausage and biscuit from Hardees! Yum!

Oh, Oh OH! GREEN is happening! (grin) I loved reading your blog today. What fun!

Hi, Beth! good to see you! I think it's fascinating to see the earth turn green before your very eyes! ♥

Morning! Wow--you eat dandilion flowers battered and fried? I've never heard of that before--what kind of batter? I think I want to try it!!! (grin)

Holly said...

I've tried different types of batters, Beth, but generally, dip the flower in a liquid, then flour, then fry in oil. Yum! Make sure there's no stem or it will be yuk!
