Linens On The Line

Good morning, Girls! Remember this big box of linens from my friend Juli at Christmas? If not, see this post for the whole story!

I've used some of these linens but most of them have stayed stashed away so I'd forget what they all looked like and I could be surprised again! Hee-hee!

Now here are a select few linens freshly washed and on the line. They're just a sunnin' themselves and waiting to be pressed with the iron- hopefully today. Look how green the grass is getting!

Micah had a wonderful Birthday yesterday and he and Bobby are going fishing today! You know what that means don't you? I GET TO BE ALONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MONTHS!!!!! But I do look forward to the quiet company of all my blogging girls, so please don't stay away.

Love you all lots!

Hi Holly....I am clueless when it comes to painting roses too, so this is what I did:
I Googled "Rose Drawings" in Google Images, found one that I liked, enlarged it, put a piece of paper up to my momitor, and traced it lightly with a pencil. Once I had that drawing I practiced doing it on my own, and you know what they say about practice! Well, I am not perfect at it, but at least I can do it now, lol...
Love your blog! I am now a follower! Feel free to follow mine as well. I add new projects and stuff almost every day!

oh so cute! i remember my grandma's neighbor hanging things on the line:) so sweet and country! so did you open your package??? i can't wait to open mine... eek! oh and don't tell me when you send it, that way if it comes on a day that i am in a crappy mood; it will TOTALLY cheer me up! i was BAD and tried getting a HINT out of my mom and she said "Ohhhhhh Nooooo, I'm not telling you anything. Just that you'll crap your pants when you get it!"

Geez... hope I don't CRAP; that would suck!!! LOL :)

enjoy your day of peace honey; i am taking one of those tomorrow morning!!

Those linens look so pretty hanging on the line. You sound just like me, I Love being alone! Doesn't happen often though. I'm glad Micah's birthday was good. Are you going to be frying fish? Have a wonderful day! Twyla

Good morning, friend Twyla!

I haven't been alone and free from responsibility in sooooo long! This is the first fishing trip of the season.

Bobby is the official fish fryer around here and he fries them on the outdoor cooker/Bar B Q thingy that I know nothing about. ☺

Hope you have a lovely day, Twyla!

Hi, Priscila!

Yes, I'm the real thing! I've been house wifing it for 28 years! But no pressing today after all... Crafting, computer time and movies with left over birthday cake and ice cream instead! ♥

Priscila said...

hah aill take ice cream and cake and leave the pressing anyday

Holly said...

Well, Priscila, I think it's fun to press vintage linens- but not shirts and stuff! But it's *that time of the month* and all I want to do is SIT! Ya want some cake and ice cream? ;>

How gorgeous! Makes me remember all those times I helped Mom put the wet clothes out on the clothes line. Nostalgic moment, here...
