Winter Is Not Forever!

I thought that the title of this book (that I just finished) had an appropriate title for this time of year. For any of your girls who are still seeing snow and feeling cold, (Like me!) HANG IN THERE! Winter is not forever!
I love this Joshua Jones series. I've read it about 4 times since the 80s. ☺

I read in my bed every night for 15 minutes to an hour. In days gone by, I would stay up till 3:00 AM reading and I'd have blood shot eyes and suffer horribly from depression! Duh! I'm wiser now but I still love my night time reading- in moderation. Recklessness is a lot more exciting than moderation but I sure feel a whole lot better when I'm being good to myself!

Good day, girlfriends!

Good morning, Noelle! We have about 2 inches of snow. Was I really sunbathing a few days ago? Makes life interesting, that's for sure! ♥

Well it sure does feel like Winter is lasting forever! lol I use to read all the time when I'd get into bed but now I just watch a bit of tv before falling asleep. If I read, I would be reading all night! lol xoxo

I love it when you find a great book that makes you want to stay up and read it all night long.

Pea, One of the reasons I'm able to read in moderation now is that I'm so much more TIRED at the end of the day! Plus, I used to consume cafine at night, too! Not now. No caffine after 2:00 PM!

Katie, for sure some books are easier to put down than others! Hope you're having a good Birthday!

Priscila, I'm sure many of your blogging sisters would gladly share their snow with you if they could!

Love you all! ♥

Thanks, Amy! I *am* feeling better today. I get so mad at my body sometimes! You see, I LOVE to work really hard but almost every time I do, I get sick! So frustrating!

Glad you saw some Robins! They are my favorite wild bird. ♥

Hi Holly,

Hope you've had a good week. Mine's been busy but good. What a great book for you to treasure. Thank goodness the title of that book is true. Spring is finally finding it's way to Minnesota and temps are warming up more and more each day. Feels so good to be out of the deep feeze. Take care and have a great weekend.

Winter is almost over and spring begins Friday! I guess I missed another post yesterday. How did that happen? I must be daft. I'm glad you figured out that you needed sleep and you wouldn't be depressed. I used to love to read, but have trouble concentrating anymore. I guess I'd rather sleep! The only time there is to read is right before bed, right? Twyla

Twyla, I've been sleeping/posting later since the time change. You probably are coming by before I post.

I hardly ever sit down and read a book during the day. But I read on the computer a lot durring the day. My night time reading is a special treat at the end of the day. ♥
