Favorites On Friday and Look What's Blooming!

Look here, girls! I finally found something wonderful at the Goodwill again and for a nice price- just like in the good ole days! These 4 pansy ornaments were only 44 cents! They are destined to become favorites. I have them sitting on my Shabby Chic bookcase on a pile of tulle. (I'm still trying to figure out how to get the date off my pics when I use the Q mode.)What's blooming around the cottage?
Here's my beautiful Mother's Day basket from my son, Caleb. He and I were gardening buddies when he still lived at home. Micah gave me little flowers to plant but I won't show those until they fill out a bit.

I Love my Lavender Irises! I'm giving you 3 shots of them. See how Green everything is now?! There's my woods in the back where I hike in the mornings. I say hike because it's uphill.

Here's the back of my house with my 3 Green chimneys! The little window you see there is my kitchen window that gives me a nice view of my Irises.

So what do you girls have planned for today? I hope to press some linens. (Doesn't "press" sound so professional?) Micah's glasses finally came in so we'll do some school work today too but then we'll be off for the REAL week end. We will now have Saturday and Sunday off just like most Americans do! Maybe we will do some garage sailing tomorrow if Bobby isn't too tired.
I won't be posting tomorrow but I'll be back for Scrapbook Sunday!
Cheers! ♥

Good morning, Melly! Well, I guess it's not morning for you! ♥

We do have a peaceful place here. It's been a nice place to land.

Good morning Holly.

Great ornaments you found at the Goodwill. Love the floral pattern on them and the fact that they are pretty enough to display all year round.

Your outdoor flowers are also so beautiful too. Still pretty cool here in Minnesota so I haven't done any planting in my flower pots yet. Hopefully soon.

What have I got planned for today?? Well, I've taken a few vacation days from work, so yesterday went antiquing and will show my new treasures sometime this weekend. Today, I'm going to my nieces school for her track & field day along with my Mom & both my sisters. Should be a fun day, despite the chill that still in the air.

Take care and have a great weekend!

Oh yes, 'press' the linens, dahling. Sounds much less like work than ironing them. My favorite flowers are irises. Yours are beautiful. I hope you get to go garage saling tomorrow. I'll just be home today 'tidying' for my friend Susan to come visit tonight. Have a wonderful weekend! Twyla

Hi, Kim! Hurray for vacation days! Can't wait to see what you found antiquing!

Have fun with your mom and sisters. I used to love track and field day. With my long legs, I always won the races! ♥

Hi, Twyla! I have a crummy iron that cools off all the time so I "press" all through out the day. It's okay because with my bad veins, I can't stand in one spot too long anyway!

I hope you have a fun visit with Susan tonight. ♥

Holly, your irises are beautiful and that's a nice basket of flowers from Caleb! I really like those ornaments - but what kind of ornaments are they meant to be?
I have a flower bed that's looking awful that I hope to clean up a little this weekend, if Michelle will "let me" - she's so fussy and "clingy" these days, maybe because she's teething!?
Wish you a great weekend!
Love, Rika

Michele, Buy yourself a flower basket and water it every day! works for me! ♥

Noelle,I know how you feel because of what we went through with Micah. I'm praying for you! ♥

Rika, I guess they are meant to be ornaments for a girly Christmas tree! and I hope to have one next year.

I've never met a baby that wasn't clingy and fussy at one time or another. It's hard to grow up! (For babies and moms!) ♥

Marie, it doesn't look like I will be able to go hunting today. I'll just have to share in the fun of your finds! ♥

Carrie, I love my morning hikes for most of the year. When it's too hot and humid I swim every day instead! ♥

Hi Holly! Thank you for stopping by. How have you been? I love the flowers! The purple Iris photos are so pretty. I also love the kitty pics. One of our kitty cats, Bella, is missing. We haven't seen her since yesterday afternoon...she is an indoor cat! She is my baby! Her sister, Cupcake, has been getting outside but comes back in the house. Cupcake has a boyfriend....so...I am thinking we might have a mamma and a box of kittens like you had! I really am worried for Bella.

Hi, Ellen! Could Bella have a boyfriend, too? I've had cats go missing for up to week and come back. I'm sure she'll be fine. ♥
