My First Gift Tag And Another Project

Look girls! I made my first gift tag with one of my rose decals! You like? I sent it off to Priscila because she was my first artist friend and she has encouraged me as an artist so much! I loved making this sweet tag. I always knew I'd like making them. I was just waiting for the right time! I don't think I would like making several tags that were just alike though! I don't think it would be as fun because I always like doing something new.

I put the other rose decals on this little jelly jar. You should have seen me tearing around the house trying to find something to put them on! ☺

They are kind of hard to see on clear glass so I put the lace in and decided to leave it!

I won't be able to be on the computer much today but maybe tonight!
Hope you all have a great day! ♥

So cute! I think I just might become addicted to decals myself... I bought an old wooden painted folding chair at the thrift store the other day and I'm thinking it *needs* a decal on the back. Maybe some fruit or flowers? I am trying to resist going back to that decal site you mentioned the other day.. but my resolve. is. weakening.... ahhh... ;)

The other night...I heard her talking to someone and she and 3 of her friends where all SKYPEing???? So...that has been my excuse for being a bad blogger....Hope your having a wonderful summer? TEXAS has been very very very HOT..110 in the shade!!! Don't you miss those temps??? Love Julie

I just love your tag, you did a wonderful job and I know Priscila will just love it too! Great idea to put the rose decal on the jars. I purchased several jars with rose decals on them at Michael's ... I have been using them in the bathroom. One holds colored cotton balls and I put a pink wash cloth in the other.
Have a fun 4th!!!

Thanks, Diane! I think decals are a great option for us girls who don't know how to paint but then they also have such great reproductions, too! ♥

Thanks, Julie! I have to share the computer, too! Early morning is my main time.

I do *not* miss the Texas temps but I do miss the culture which includes lovely ladies like yourself! ☺ ♥

Thanks, Twyla! Yes, some of the elements came from some sweet girls I know! ;) ♥

Thanks, Marydon! Decals really don't work well on paper but oh well! It did *work*. ♥

Thanks, Karen! So I'm not the only one to think up putting roses on jars? ☺ It should be interesting to see what all I end up using mine for! ♥

I just love seeing your projects! I liked the decals a lot but I didn't know quite what to do with them. Good examples, will the one stay on the glass when it's used and washed or is it just for decoration?

Hi, Katie! I Have no idea how the decals wash up... so I probably will never wash it- just dust it. ♥

Glad you like, Priscila! The only thing about making more is that I don't have more of those same elements! ♥
