Big News!

Good day, girls! Hope you all had a great week end!

This is my wonderful family of children and grandchildren in Idaho. (This pic also includes Bobby and me in the middle and Micah sitting on the floor.) This was taken at this time last year when we flew out there and that's the last time I saw my family; that's too long!

Well, we have decided that we will put our house up for sale (once again) in the Spring and try to move out and join them. If the house sells, then I can say that I've moved approximately 31 times in my life! ☺ I guess I'll never settle down, girls! BUT, I DON"T want to part with any of my pretties this time- only furniture, appliances and cars- the big stuff!

Enjoy your family if you have them near!

Oh Holly, how exciting to be living closer to family! I positively dread the thought of my kids relocating. I know it will likely happen and I'll be happy for them whatever the Lord brings their way.. but I probably won't be able to help feeling a little bit sad for poor old mama, lol. I just prayed that the whole moving process would go quickly and smoothly, if that's the Lord's will for your family♥

and I have to add that your sons are just SO handsome! Good gracious me.

Oh Holly, what exciting news! I had no idea that you had moved so many times in your life! But to be nearer your family is a GOOD thing. Make sure all of those pretties are the first thing to get packed!
Have a great day!

That is really exciting! I am happy for you to live closer to family. I am only about 1/2 hour to 1 hour away from my family and that seems too far!! I just don't see them enough!

I'll say a prayer that your wish comes true Holly and that you, Bobby and Micah will be able to sell your house and move to Idaho to be with the rest of your family.

What a blessing that will be for all of you to come together again and for you to be there to watch our grandchildren grow up.

Have a great day!!

I'm a new reader of your blog and didn't realize you are from Idaho, sugar!! That's where we live. Where in Idaho are you from? Come over and visit with me for sure, chick!!!

Oh how excited you MUST be! Where is Idaho will you be? I have family in Boise and Meridian...did you know that? I will be praying for you and the sell of your home!

I know how hard it is to be so far from family, but GOD hasn't opened up any opportunity for us to move closer!

And...I wanted to make sure you knew...we were thinking of doing a Franchise business from our home, but things came to light and my hubby didn't feel the LORD wanted up to proceed....so alas he continues to look for work in his field of engineering management. So sorry if I was comfusing.

Love to you, and a GREAT week ahead!

I know how you feel. My oldest daugher is in Ohio with my four grandbabies and I have another daughter away at college. Like you I have one at home that does virtual school.
Had them all in town this weekend for my youngests birthday...that was fun. I miss them already but it's gonna take me all day to clean up after them!

What a nice family picture Holly. I can't imagine living that far away from my kids. But now my youngest who is the only child living close to us is talking of moving to Pennsylvania! I will be very sad if they follow through. Heck, maybe I should pack up and move to Italy. That would throw everyone for a loop. lol

I think its exciting to move that many times. But for family you must do anything to be near them. Have fun selling and good luck!

I told HH the other day if this country keeps going toward the it looks its going, I will be wanting to move to another country. Kids are all spread out anyway, but I do enjoy seeing families together. We get together pretty often. There are so many of us it usually ends up in a shouting match. LOL. Big talkers. Your family is lovely. Blessings

Holly, this is really good news. There's nothing better than being near your kids. I wish you all the luck with selling your house. I am glad you are keeping your personal stuff this time. I'd hate to see you get rid of all your pretties. Twyla

I know it might be hard to pack up and move again but it'll be worth if to be closer! We picked MI over CA and a much bigger paycheck WHO does that?! All because that's where the grandparents and family are. Decided having ER know her grandparents, making memories, and having them in her life on a regular basis was worth more than material things. Only sometimes do I think hmm...my mom is driving me nuts why didn't I pick SoCal and being close to Disneyland? Oh yes and the smog, congestion, etc. etc.....
