Looky Here!

Happy Monday, girls! Well, I didn't win M's big give away over at the OC Cottage but *before* the give away drawing, she sent me a little OC package just because I'm me! ☺ I was so tickled! (Still am, actually!) Thanks again, M! I'm officially in love with Chintz! and this is mine, mine, mine! Isn't it sweet?!

M is my favorite photographer and I love to look at her pics! (I'm hoping she dedicates her first book to me.) ~ Wink ~
I thought I'd play like *I* was M and try to get some OC shots! Hee-hee! Well, I tried. ☺ I did catch a tiny bit of sparkle- yes?

She sent me some little crepe paper medallions, too. Think Pink!

This one is personalized with my very own "h"

All these sweet lovelies are contributing to the girl cave I'm creating. I must come up with a better name than "cave", though. Any suggestions?

What a sweet friend to send you all those goodies! But you're just so sweet, I think you bring out the *nice* in everybody around you♥

Hmm.. you're right 'cave' just doesn't fit... maybe 'nook' or 'cocoon' or 'chamber'... I'm sure between the bunch of us bloggity gals we can come up with a good name;)

Ohhh that was soooo sweet of M!! She really is a beautiful photographer, isnt she? Such soft, beautiful pictures. Your new goodies are just lovely!! I love those starfish so much!!

Thank you for the sweetest post on my blog Holly :) You are such a doll and I wish I could give you a hug! You are right, we need to do some fun things in blogland this winter!! The real reason I dont like fall and winter is because I am emetephobic (fear of vomiting). I have had this since I was four and it is very life hindering. It has caused so many problems in my life and though I have had lots of treatment, nothing seems to cure it. Fall and winter, is when Norovirus is most previlant and it causes me to constantly be afraid of my boys bringing it home from school etc. So that is one of my many skeletons, lol!
Love ya sweetie,

Ooh love all the eye candy pink. Aren't you the lucky girl. Love the star fish, in those delightful colors. Just right for a pink girl like you. Hope you are doing well. How is Bobby doing? PT coming along okay? How is the WC issue coming along? Are they going to cover him as long as he needs? I have still been praying about this for you. Please take care sweetie. Have a wonderful Monday. Country hugs, Sherry

Maybe it could be your cozy corner or sweet retreat! I love your beautiful gifts! The chintz is wonderful! What fun to have friends that know exactly what we love!

So sweet of M to send you those things. Bloggig friends really are the most generous people in the world. I am so excited about your 'haven'. I am looking forward to seeing pictures. Our craft room redo is going slowly right now, cause there's some big things we just don't know what to do with and then I was sick all last week. Have a great week, Holly! Twyla

Hey Holly!
Oh what sweet treasures that "M" sent you! You have got to be the luckiest girl in blogland! I know you are lovin' all of your new treasures! I love going to the Tales from an O.C. Cottage Blog too...there's always lots of eye candy and great photography too. You did great on these pics too! Congrats to you...you deserve all of the good things life has to offer.
By the way, about your question on my post about are the eggs. You asked were they styrofoam...yes, they are. I'd never seen anything like these before....I'm glad they could bring back memories of the ones your mama made and you made. I am happy that I could get these and that are still in such great shape. They are made from delicate material...besides the straight pins of course! LOL! Well, I'm off to see your other posts and see what all I've missed out on over the weekend!
I hope you have a great day!
Big Hugs,

hi holly!

yes, M's creations are so cool. she has a great eye and wonderfully "chintzy" style!

i call my girl cave the girlie office. even my boys call it that, although oldest just says, GO! how about the heart hearth? holly's hideaway? whatever you name it, it will be wonderful!

Oh you lucky girl Holly!! Now we have something in common. I have a small chintz dish just like one "M" so generously gave to you. I use mine as a coaster on my coffee table so I can see it everyday. Both pretty and practical at the same time. Don't you just love having things like that?

One more thing.. Funny that you mentioned in your comments to me over the weekend that I should add the Followers feature on my blog as I actually did just that not too long before you left the comments. I had tried several times before, but could never get it to work, but now with my new computer it just popped up like magic when I tried adding it this weekend. Wierd huh??

Hi, Holly,
You may not have won the big giveaway, but you certainly received some pretties. I, too, love chintz. The medallions are so pretty and fit your sweet personality perfectly. Happy autumn blessings being sent your way. Vicki

I love the idea of a "girl cave". Makes me think of Bat Girl...she knew how to decorate, that's for sure and what a man she kept in that cave...Mr Batman! Life is good! Perhaps a:
Girl Hut
Girly Bungalow
Girly Island
Tent Girl
Girl in a treehouse
Girl in the moon
I've got my thunken' cap on says Tinker Bell.
