September First!

Happy September, bloggin' girls! Should we just pretend it's Fall already? It seems like that's what most of us do! This is my pretty pumpkin that I made last year. I love how it turned out and I hope to make more One Of A Kind pretty pumpkins this year.
I'm bringing the Fall decorations up from the basement today plus uncovering the stash I've squirreled away from thrifting all year. I'm excited to see what I find! I plan on grouping it all together to show you, too!
****
So what's everyone doing today? I might be having a girl friend over but it might end up being tomorrow before she can come so most of my plans are on hold.
I had fun cleaning yesterday while Bobby was gone and then I crafted on my breaks. I took lots of breaks but got a lot of cleaning done, too!! What a deal, eh? I guess I'm on a crafting streak. It's helping me to deal with Bobby being off work and not being able to have a routine.
The Dr. is talking about the need for a possible shoulder replacement and if that happens, I just might have my husband home for a long, long time! It's a good thing we get along so well!
****
Whatever you do today- I hope you enjoy it as much as you can!

I can't believe it's Sept. already! I putting off Fall decorating until next month. I prefer the summer colors in my home!!! It never feels like Fall here until the end of Oct anyway.

I'm so sorry I haven't mailed your teapot yet. I promise I will do it this week. I just got some bubble wrap and a box.

Holly, that is such a pretty pink picture! It sure feels like fall where we live so naturally we are thinking of the decorating. Thing is, we have more Halloween decorations than we have fall things. Today, Jordan and I are off to find another old cemetary where some of our ancestors are buried. He is really into his research right now. I just hope I can get him there by finding the cemetary! It's way out in the country. Have a wonderful day! Twyla

Happy September 1st, Holly! I'm still not ready to make the transition from Summer to Fall! It's been such a nice, mild summer here. I hate the heat! I will start bringing out all of the Fall decor after Sept. 11. Until then, all the patriotic stuff stays up!
Have a great day!

Hello, Holly,
I can hardly wait for autumn to arrive. I have been buying a few things for fall to add to my other things. I recently bought a cute scarecrow. I love your pink pumpkin. Now that is my idea of a beautiful color for a pumpkin. I hope your husband gets well soon. I know the doctors will do what they think is best. Thank you for dropping by for a visit and for your very kind comments. Have a happy week. Vicki

Happy Fall! I hung out with the boys! My 4 yr old nephew spent the night and had to go to McDonalds for lunch! Then I got home and took the 6 yr old for his allergy shot. They are great separate! I bought the princess some CUTE pink /purple suede shoes for fall. They fit and she will actually walk in them! I hope you had a lovely one!
Hugs, Lisa

Today was a work day for me. I work with seniors who at times act like children...I so love that about them. We talked about lost earrings, favorite grandsons, one grand daughter spent all her grandma's money...hmmm..by mistake she said (!) and the other one talked about being a naughty kid that gave history teachers headaches and then he became a history teacher...all in a days work!

I wish your husband the very best, yes, a shoulder replacement sounds rough, never knew anyone who had one. My knee was horribly painful. Cute pink pumpkin, need to drag mine out! later,Lori
