Cute Christmas Ideas

Happy Holiday week, girls! As you can see, my Christmas (blog) decorations are already up!
Here's some cute ornament ideas from Goodhouskeeping magazine! The fabric ball up above is my favorite! My head is swimming with ideas for this one. I've already started making a tiny one and it isn't as easy as it looks! But maybe that's because I'm not following the directions? ☺
Simple pine cones. I have lots of pine cones. How bout White and glittery with a pink organdy loop? (I'm thinking up ideas for my White tree!)

I have some little girl pastel mittens that I bought at the GW and they'll be cute stuffed with something fun...
I've already started on my Thanksgiving meal. I like to do a little bit each day so I have more time to play once the big day arrives!
I won't be posting tomorrow because I'll be off to the movies with my friend Amy to see New Moon! Believe it or not, this will be my first time to go to a movie theater in probably 15 years! ~ GASP ~ I know! I *was* supposed to go see New Moon with my boy Caleb. He was going to fly out and spend the holidays with us but since I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM HIM, I guess he isn't coming! BOYS!
Have a super duper day, girls!

Hi Holly, good to see you posting again! Cute Christmas ideas! What kind of movie is New Moon? Yesterday we watched the Christmas movie The Polar express that we borrowed from our new English friends. Not exactly my type of movie and the girls thought it was a little scary and strange but Brad liked it since it reminded him of childhood Christmases!:-)
Love,
Rika

How cool! This year we are making everything again--I think last year's Christmas with the hand-made gifts we all gave to one another was the best Christmas since the children were small.

I love the ideas. THank you for sharing them!

I'm thinking your son Caleb is off being a warrior. I'm thinking that is what the name Caleb means if I remember right. He'll show up, after the battle! It was Caleb after all that pushed through to the promise land...I hope his promise land is called HOME. You've inspired me to search GW now for cutie mittens...those are darling, dear darling Holly from Molly. Secret code!

Good morning Holly.....

Love your Christmas (blog) decorations. It looks so cute. And, PINK.... :-)

I wouldn't really grace the inside of a movie theater either, but I do take my little grandson to see quite a few......don't tell him, but I'm often having myself a nice little snooze. :-) I hope you have a wonderful time and I hear that movies NOT a sleeper.

I'm so sad you haven't heard from your boy. Darn it all....It's not too late....He still might show up. I sure hope so, sweet chickie.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hugs,
Spencer

I just purchased the wonderful Kitchen Nook papers as well after hearing about them from Lindsey. Your cards are wonderful! I am so hoping you are still lending your talent to our Christmas Tag Swap due to me so that I can mail them to you by December 9th. My address can be found on my blog. If the season finds you too busy, not to worry, just let me know. Wishing you a joyous Thanksgiving Holiday! Elizabeth

Hi Holly, I love your blog look and all the decor. Thank you for sharing such wonderful ideas. I love the fabric ornament too and the pinecones are great. I have magnolia cones that I hope I have time to spray white and glitter.

Did you have fun at the movie? I think you were due to go.
Hope your son comes home.

Just wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Love to you, Celestina Marie

Holly, Not a worry at all! I'm so sorry to have mixed things up! Too busy for one tag, not a worry at all either! I will send you a complete set because one person has dropped out. If you can e-mail me your address at elizabeth.andrus@yahoo.com, I will be ready! A note if you do wish to send one tag - no other goodies needed as two others have. I didn't want that to be apart of my tag swaps. Just a tag in the mail to enjoy each others art! You Block Party Block is definitely one of my favorites. Such fun! Elizabeth

Holly, your blog is looking gorgeous!

What wonderful decorating ideas you've shared with us! I'll have to try some of them myself! I saw some pink pine cones in a basket in this month's 'Romantic Homes'. I'm dying to put that one together!

Enjoy the movie today and don't forget the popcorn!

Blessings,
Teresa
