When Wishes Come True

I saw this add in Martha's magazine and I thought, Aw, I wish I had an ornament kit like that.
Then I unpacked my Christmas boxes and found this! A gift from my friend Becca last year at Christmas! I had forgotten all about it! I know it's not exactly the same but it's close enough for me! Christmas wishes do come true! Now, will I actually do up this kit for this year?
Lesson learned: Do not put Christmas craft supplies in the basement! Keep them in the craft room year round. Also- tea stained gift tags will MOLD in the basement.
Hope you all have a delightful day full of surprises!

Thanks for the lesson on tea dyed tags! Actually, since we don't have a basement, maybe I don't have to worry about that. We have crafts so buried in our craft room that we still forget them. I hope you'll make that craft kit and show us how it turns out! Have a great weekend, Holly! Twyla

We have snow!! I think it's on your way! I love snow. We get rain and snow most of the time so it's nice to have just SNOW!!!
I'm off to look at it!!
Merry Christmas!

That's so fun! I'm glad you got a Christmas surprise early enough to put them together and get them on the tree! So glad you didn't find them after the holidays when you were putting things away!

What a fun find Holly!! Several years ago my cousin's wife had a Christmas craft bazaar at her home and I found out that the next year when she was unpacking her Christmas boxes she found over $600 worth of cash and checks from her bazaar the year before in the box! That would never happen to me because I would KNOW it was missing and tear the place apart looking for it. :)
Blessings~
