Happy Apple Fun

Remember this post when I introduced the new member of my family? I have discovered that I'm not the only one who loves Happy Apple! Even if you can only watch a few seconds- check out this little video . You'll get the drift!

From reading the comments and description, it looks like a bunch of college kids who posed with Happy Apple! I found out that there's even a Happy Apple fan club on facebook!
**********
Girls, I have a dilemma! For the last few days, I haven't been able to upload pics from my camera! I can tell it's a computer problem so I've been "working" on my computer trying to figure things out. I think it has something to do with backing up my files... I was about in tears yesterday because of the lack of head way I was making but this morning I feel ready to tackle the beast again!
*********
This Happy Apple post was the only one I had left in my draft folder so unless I figure this problem out today, I won't be posting tomorrow!

I hope to have time to craft today. Here lately I've been wishing there was a door on my craft room! I feel the need for a "woman's cave"! ☺

Glad you could come by! I love all my blogger girls! ♥

My Block From Elizabeth

Happy Monday, everybody! Here's the cutie pie block that Elizabeth from Creative Breathing made for me! Isn't it sweet? I Love the Pink flowers and how she put the puppy on the button! This will hang in my craft room. Here's the other side of the block which features *her* blog name!

Many girls have sent Elizabeth blocks and she is stringing all of our blocks together and making a wall hanging/banner/ garland for her craft room! Elizabeth's craft room was cute already but now it's simply bursting with color! If you go over to her blog, you can see the progress she's made so far!
***************
I hope you all had a good week end! I sure enjoyed my first blog party on Saturday- The Wizard Of Oz Gala! (See post above.) I also had a rootin' tootin' time watching the Hanna Montana movie yesterday. ☺ (I told y'all I'm really just a little girl in disguise!)
***************
This week holds the promise of a routine for me. Bobby starts normal therapy sessions this week plus a new Dr. appointment so I'll be slipping in a bit of school review for Micah while Bobby's out for that and we might get a better idea of when Bobby will return to work.
***************
Our good family friend Rebekah will be coming for a day visit sometime this week! Rebekah is a very busy nurse and paramedic so I don't get to see her very often. She will soon be moving off to Idaho where her brother and my sons live. I wish I could just snap my fingers and live there, too! (In a 3 BD 2 BTH house on 2 fenced acres with a good job for Bobby!) Sometimes I miss my boys and grand kids so much that it could make me sick but I don't let myself go there very often. Life is what it is and I have so much to be thankful for!

Hope everyone has a GREAT day! ♥

Oz Gala

Good morning and welcome to the Wonderful Wizard Of Oz Gala hosted by Twyla and Lindsey of Two Crazy Crafters. I absolutely love Judy Garland as Dorothy! In honor of Dorothy's Blue gingham jumper....

I made a Dorothy wreath!

I wanted to embelish it with some sort of an Oz thingy but guess what? I didn't! Ha-ha!

In honor of the anniversary, we watched the Wizard Of Oz on our big screen yesterday.

Funniest scene:
*********
You all might think my sense of humour is warped but I laughed the hardest when the wicked witch mocked Dorothy and said, "Aunty Em, Aunty Em! Ha-ha-ha-ha-h" ☺ It must be from living around so many guys all my life! Do you have a favorite funny scene?
*************
Scariest scenes from my childhood:
*******
I was never afraid of the wicked witch but those flying monkeys and the soldiers!
~ Faint ~ What was your scariest part?
*****
Be sure to stop by Two Crazy Crafters to see who else is celebrating today!

Chenille Bliss

Eeeek! Do you love Chenille? I certainly do! Look at these yummy flowers!Add some bits of Pink and Green

Happy Yellow ☺

Pink and White ♥

lightly toss in an embroidered hanky,

add the bliss of it all together- and you have the Birthday give away that I won from Twyla! Look how cute those little blue flowers are on the hanky! Ooops, she also included a super cute Red, Pink and White dish cloth that she crotcheted but it's in the laundry already!

And do you want to know what was really great about this give away? I knew I had won *something* but I didn't know *what* it was AND I forgot all about it- so it was a total surprise when it came! I love surprises! Thanks again Twyla!!! ♥ ♥ ♥

I hope you can all come by tomorrow to see what I made for the Oz Gala, also hosted by Twyla and Lindsey!

Cath Kidston

Happy Monday girls! I sure have missed you! We're going to try to have a liiiiitle bit more of a schedule this week so I'm going to try posting!
****************************
I ordered a free Cath Kidston catalog and I love to look through it! I hope you enjoy these pages that I chose to share with you! So many CUTE dishes with Roses and dots!

I love all the strawberry stuff, too!

Check out this tent!!!!

They have all sorts of cute things- even clothes!

Pretty!

I never tire of looking through this catalog!

***************
Catch up time!
My visit with our out of town company from SD. was interesting. I came down with some sort of sickness and "Aunt Flo" came to visit as well! I wasn't able to clean and prepare like I would have enjoyed but with the 2 physical disabilities , I was kept numb enough to not be nervous about anything!
**************
I've been having fun crafting! I finished my 5x5 block for Elizabeth's block party. I'll try to get good pictures of it today.
*************
My pocket book has been on a diet so I haven't been thrifting as much as I'd like but I have allowed myself to spend just a liiiiiiittle bit at the GW every week. I'll try getting a post up about that this week, too.
*************
We have no idea when Bobby goes back to work. Dealing with Workman's Comp is NOT a fast process. Bobby's shoulder is much better but he still doesn't sleep many hours at a time which has him sleeping in odd shifts around the clock. The guys generally stay up reeeeally late and I get up reeeeally early so in that way, I have a bit of quiet and alone time. I can't tell you how many movies we've watched since Bobby's been home and I think I'm all movied out!!
***********
Do you wonder why I put those ********** after my paragraphs? Sometimes it's the only way blogger will format a paragraph so I just started adding them every time.
***********
Have a great day girlfriends! Thanks for coming by! ♥

Fun Stuff!

Hey girlfriends! Last week when I was feeling sooo blue, a surprise package came from Noelle! (Blue no more!) Ya know what's funny? Noelle had written, asking for my address again and apologized for blowing the surprise but I joked with her and said, "Oh, you just want my address so you can send me a Christmas card- right?" ☺ And then I promptly forgot all about it! Ha-ha! So it was STILL a surprise when it came, which I thought was pretty neat. Look at my cute little blog sign! Isn't it adorable? I was one of Noelle's Pay it forward participants so this is what she made for me!
I love the colors, the flowers, the polka dots- everything!
And because she loves me and we be the girlfriends, she sent other goodies, too! Look at these sweet baby bowls to add to my "Mom"collection! (See this post for details.) Noelle had told me about the plates but the bowls were a total surprise! Although I love my plates, these are my first bowls, so I was pretty tickled!

She sent this pretty blue linen, too but it wasn't this wrinkled when it came. Sorry Noelle! It's my fault! Um, I *could* have ironed it but... I didn't! I've sort of been on vacation- ya know. ☺ I was also very happy to get some of those cute flower cut outs for playing "crafter" with!

Hmmm, I REALLY should have ironed this first! Ha!
Thanks again, Noelle! ♥ ♥ ♥
Hope you all have a great week end! I think I might need to stay home and clean house! And iron... ☺
