New Blog Dress And An Image To Share

Girls At Heart is ready for Valentine time! Do you like my new kitty header? There's not many kitty Valentines out there! The image came from Twyla and Lindsey at Two Crazy Crafters but I erased the original writing and put my writing on it all by myself. ☺ I've been wanting to learn how to do that for a long time now! All the vintage images in my side bar were gleaned from Twyla, Lindsey and Elizabeth from Creative breathing (and maybe other places, too?) but some of them belong to me. The image above is mine. Please feel free to copy it for your use! This is the bridge card that Jenny from The Red Bulletin board gave me last year. I'll be sharing more of my own images in the days to come.

Well, this is our first day back to full time work and school since July! We're so excited because it's supposed to get up in the 40s this week! Perfect timing! It's been over a week since it's been above freezing here!

Thanks for all your love and concerns about my veins. I'm all cheered up now! I've been living with these things since 1981 and if I have to KEEP living with them- then I just do! It's time to move on!

I hope you all have a great week. I'm sure preparing for one!

Blog make-overs are so much fun, aren't they?! Good job on the header, Holly! I haven't tried to do that yet--it's on my list to learn!

Hope you're having a beautiful day!

Holly, I love the beautiful blog look. It is such a 'love'ly place. I am still so sorry about your veins and just feel like God has a plan for you. When the time is right. I am so glad you are feeling happier about it now though. I don't like to think of you sad. Yeah for warmer temperatures! We, too, are getting out of the below freezing temps this week and boy, is it gonna feel good! Hope your day is as beautiful as you! Twyla

I asked God to help you today Holly. To calm your fears and give you strength as you experience another milestone day in your life. Sometimes in the morning when I don't feel like going to work I hear a few dwarfs singing...I owe, I owe, it's off to work I go! This business of paying for homes and cars and food and clothing and a few treats along the way can be exhausting.
Love the love you are spreading around with all those vintage charming valentines. Rates up there with 100% cute!

Hi Holly~
I love your blog background and header and I am really wowed by the floating hearts. (How DO they do that?) The Valentine images here and at Elizabeth's & Twyla & Linday's are so cheery...they are really putting me in the mood to do Valentine crafting. I am so sorry to read about the roadblocks to your vein repair. Mine are not varicosed but I have horrible spider veins on my ankles and behind my knees...my ankles look totally purple at times. I hate them, too. I hope you can find a solution. I'll be back to see you!

I love your collection of vintage Valentine card pics. I am going to date myself by saying some of those were probably given to me at school back in the 1950's.

Hoping you have a great week, and Yay!!!...I think warmer weather will be coming by the weekend down here too...(not warm, but warmer) fingers crossed! I'm seriously So tired of the cold, not used to this much freezing temps! LOL! We usually get a cold front with some freezing temps at night, and it passes quick. Oh well, It won't last forever! LOL!
Big Hugs,
Queenie

Warmer today.. We have water at the chicken coupe and we are having to cary it in by the buckets.. It will be this weekend before we can check out the busted pipes.. That post you read about our water being back on was before the pipes busted.. We will survive.. Glad things are warming up for you there.

Your blog looks so pretty, Holly. I haven't been here in so long. I love all of the pretty Valentine's images.
I'm so sorry about your vein problems and the expensive surgery. Even at half the price, I'm sure it is very expensive! I'll be praying for you, friend.
xoxo.
