Do You Have A Favorite Plate?

Here's mine! I love the soft colors and the delicate vines. It was hard to choose one plate out of many but I finally decided on this one. Here's a close up but the colors turned out a bit darker than true... I wish I could remember where this plate came from!

And here's my newest plate bellow- 25 cents from my Goodwill. It has some chips in it but that's okay! I'd love to have more chippy ones to put in the garden.
I'm going to try making my own plate hangers in the next week. I'll let you know if it works! I'm on Spring break right now and I have soooo many fun projects planned!
Do you have a favorite plate? I'd love to see it!

Good Morning Sweet Holly...
I so love this plate. It looks like a beautiful garden all of its own. I can't wait to see what type of hangers you are going to make. Velvet sure would be beautiful to hang this plate by.

The colors are so beautiful and bright. Makes you think you can smell the flowers. Ah-choo... Oh excuse me, my allergies are acting up a bit in this garden.

Have a beautiful day sweet friend. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

Yes...I do have a favorite plate...I have actually had many. Right now my favorite plate you have seen. It's the one that had the gnome on it sipping Glogg in Queens in Training and the one that where the gnome is tucking the children in. However, for 6 months I lived in a 5th wheeler (husband and I were on the fritz at the time). I had mismatched old china plates. When we kissed and made up and I moved back home I put the china plates in my fairy garden as a little fence. Wish I had taken pics of it. Perhaps I need to do it again!

I agree, it's so hard to pick just one plate! What do you do with your chipped plates in the garden? I have my favorite plate(s) here:

Hi Holly.. I have such a large collection of pretty plates, it's hard for me to pick a favorite, but I think I'd have to say that two of my favorites are those shown in my blog header photo. Love your plates too. Even if they aren't perfect, they are still pretty too look at.

i always see lots of pretty floral plates at GW; just don't have any room to put them. we need a bigger house, i can't start any new collections due to lack of room and wall space:)

so are you enjoying your quiet home?

Holly, your plates are so darling. I love to collect saucers and my mom always looks for them at garage sales for me. I need to look through mine and find a favorite! Hope you've had a good weekend. Twyla
