Town Blessings

One of the blessings of living in town is having my sweet DIL Sara drop by with pressies! She picked up this little box while she was out garage sailing and she said she thought it looked like me. ☺ I was so happy, I clapped my hands! She also gave me this big, brand new scrap book that was only $2.00! Fun, fun, fun! Maybe by this week end, I'll feel up to going garage sailing with her!
A very *unexpected* blessing- I found a field with a hill and a small creek nearby for Micah and Lexi and I to play on and these wild roses are growing on it! Isn't it sweet?
I also had the whole family over for dinner for the first time last night! It was so fun! My boys were so excited to eat a "mom" meal!
No pics of the inside of the house yet but at least the family *can* walk through it now!
Enjoy the blessings of *your* day, sweet girls!

It was so sweet of your DIL to pick up those little treats for you! What great deals because they are truely things you'll enjoy!

I'll bet the boys really enjoyed your home cooking, and I can't help but think those wild roses were a sweet little message from God, letting you know how much He approves your choice to be by family!

I know that moving was not easy for you. But with each post I hear how happy you are to be near your family. I'm sure you were in your glory making a family dinner.
That floral box is so pretty. And a perfect backdrop for your pink rosebud.

Hi Holly. Thank you so much for coming over to my neighborhood and visiting and now becoming one of my backyard neighbors. I know it sounds silly..but to me..each person who has followed ..has become a good friend..prayer partner or just a good teacher of crafts.
I'm a chatty cathy..lol I too long to write books..childrens books.There will be a time..God will let me know..and you also.
It sounds like you are where God wants you to be..We had 4 girls then a boy.lol and I homeschooled them all till High school except my son..he was home all 12 years.
And a favorite move of ours..we actually wore it out and had to buy it 2 more times..was The Man from Snowy River..also!!
I think we are going to be great friends!!!!
Have a great and peaceful day. Keep smiling you have a beautiful smile!!

Hugs from South Texas..Cindy from Rick-Rack and Gingham

Great finds for you! I've heard recently Idaho is very beautiful, love to see some scenery pictures when you have time. Is your town small and old fashion or large? Love to hear about it! Lori
