Latest Goodwill Finds!

I finally got to the Good Will again! Boy have I missed it! This is a new cookie jar for when the grands come over. I was going to use it in my craft room but Micah thinks the grands would like it more than me, so I guess I'll share! ☺ I think Kitty Anne likes it, too! I also found this lovely rose bowl! I love it! This Idaho Good Will has a lot more dishes than my VA one did but they have a lot less nice clothes. PNW people just don't spend as much on clothes as they do down South!
Looks like we'll be helping Christopher to take care of the grands for 12 days! HELP!

What a cute cookie jar! I'm sure the grands will love it, especially if it's full of their favorite cookies, or better yet, if you let them help you make the cookies with which to fill it.

I do love your Goodwill finds! I went the other day and bought a little bit of kids' clothes. I got sooo excited because I found an old rose gravy boat and saucer but when I picked it up, I found that it was badly cracked so I passed on it!
Have a lovely day!

That cookie jar is the cutest...it was made for your home Holly! It looks like it meets Anne's approval and the grand's are gonna love that too :)

I hope your daughter-in law has a safe trip and that you have a great time with the grands too :)

What would we all do without thrift stores? They are the best retail impulse buying I know of and so fun!

The cookie jar fits you perfect. Cute as can be! I'm waiting for grand kiddies one day to buy one of my own again. I want the Shawnee Red Riding Hood one but I'll have to hand over many bucks for it! I see them in antique stores over $100..yikes. The cookies that house themselves in that cookie jar will be made with golden raisens and chocolate and oatmeal and peanut butter for the fun of it. Priceless!

Holly, what a great bowl! I look forward to seeing all your treasures you bring home from this GW. Sometimes our's has a treasure, but mostly not. Thank goodness for flea markets and antique malls! Good luck with your grands! Twyla
