Dinning Room Progress

Here's my dinning room built- in! I work on it in spurts throughout the day as I try to decide what will go in here and what will go on my Shabby Chic shelf. I'd like to change out the knobs some day-or paint them.
I'm working in this hutch first because I still haven't' decided where my shabby shelf will go... It needs the perfect spot, ya know? I'm trying to mix all my pinks and blues together while adding touches of yellow... I'll show you again when I'm finished! (Are we ever really finished with such things?!)
I'm parked here in town in front of our little community garden. I love my little town and I love my life. I'm having peanut M&Ms for breakfast. It's fun being so naughty!
I look forward to being able to spend more time with you in the future. Thank you for all your comments! You are the frosting on my cake!

Your cabinet is beautiful, Holly! Bless your heart, having to steal away time to run into town for your blogging friends. At least you treated yourself with a yummy and nutritious breakfast. :)

Holly I love built ins they are so homey looking. Somewhere and I can't remember where in blogland some decorated with soft colors in their hutch..she was playing around..and added Mint green paper taped on the wall behind them..boy did it pop the colors on the china. She was renting and couldn't paint anything.
Anyhoo...keep having fun..I am so ready to unpack all my stuff...someday!!

Holly nice to see you posting and getting things set up. You could too paint that cabinet if you so desired a different background color for all you collectibles. Nan

Eeek's... I'm so late in visiting Holly, but I'm here now so that's what counts. I've been having a very busy week at work so I'm trying to play catchup now. I'm loving what you've done with your built-in cabinets so far. To see all your pretty treasures again is so much fun. Just an idea, but I think your built-ins would look even better if you covered the back walls with some pretty wallpaper, maybe with a very small, delicate floral print of some type to make it even prettier. Nothing too overpowering though to distract the eye from the cuteness of all your treasures. Just something to enhanse them a bit. Let me know what you think of that idea.

Hope all is well with you and that you're having lots of fun playing house :)
