Greetings From My Johnies!

And see my Aspens in the background, girls?! I love them! And I love Johnies. I'm so glad there was already some planted here.
I know my kitchen window is dirty on the outside but new ones are soon to be installed so I'll pass on hauling out the ladder! ☺ I'll miss the charming old wood windows but I WON'T miss the draftiness! BRRRR! They are so old that the glass wiggled in the panes when I washed the inside.

I hope you're all doing well. It might be another month before I have Internet. Booooo- hooooo! I miss you!

That is a beautiful shot, Holly! I was so hoping that you'd get internet sooner. Would it help if I held my breath? I can't be patient! Have a wonderful week! Twyla

Well you still have yellow leaves, we're a bit ahead of you with most of ours gone now. I still spot a tree here and there with yellow. There is an inch of snow already in Anchor Point which is the next town to us more north by about 17 miles. We're in the banana belt here in Homer. Nan

Just enjoy your time without the internet, Holly...it can be a bit consuming at times. Have fun!

Oh Holly-you are such a dedicated blogger. To drive all over to have internet connection would drive me mad. The pictures of your dining room cabinet looks like it's from a magazine. So charming. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that your connection comes sooner rather than later!

I love this picture! Here in Charleston we plant Pansies and Violas (all called Johnny Jump Ups)in the Fall and the color goes right on through the Winter to late the next spring. I personally can't plant them because the deer love them and will yank them right out of the ground. The Aspen trees are beautiful.
