Yummy Stuff!

I've been snowed in, girls! But that hasn't stopped me from having fun (in between feeling sorry for myself!) I did a quick and easy knob project the other night. This is the after. Up close you can tell they are decals but not from a distance.

Whole built in. I love it!
and here's the before. Not quite my style! I hope to re do all the hardware eventually.

AND THIS was what my poor dinning room window used to look like! Some beloved large dog must have liked it very much! I wanted to at least paint over it until it is replaced by the landlord but I didn't know if I could match the color! I decided to patch it up a bit first with some wood filler...

and look! The wood filler matches! It works for me AND Kitty Anne!

I sure do miss blogging! I'm starting to beg for dial up! Whoda ever thought?

Hi Sweet Holly...
I have missed you SO much. I am so tickled that you got moved in, and have a place to call home, with lots of land to roam for the son and the grands. I know you are enjoying it.

You did a splendid job on the built in. I love it, and unless someone is checking it out with a magnifying glass sweetie, nobody would know that it is a decal. I love it. You have your things displayed so beautifully.

I love the view that Kitty sees from the window. So pretty.

Snowed in hu? Oh I do not miss the snow. One of the reasons we moved from Oklahoma was the horrible winters. I love the desert, and will survive the heat any time over the darn winter snow, and spring tornadoes.

Many hugs to you sweetie, and so much love, Sherry

I love the cabinet! I have some decals exactly like those but never thought of putting them on furniture knobs. Great idea!

Hi Holly,
I've been checking in to see when you would come back to us. I know everyone must be missing you!
Stay warm, inside and out. The hutch is adorable and you'll make the place into a true farm cottage by the time you are done. You should name it- Holly Farm Cottage! (yep...I know the men live there too but...)

I love your built-in. It looks so nice all finished now. What a difference you made to the knobs!
What did you decide to do with the glass door knob from upstairs? Leave it there or bring it down below?
I've missed your posts but know you're still awaiting internet access.

The built in looks great Holly! Still no internet? I thought that was a done deal. Oh well, you're probably getting alot more done without it, right?! When are you going to start decking those halls with boughs of holly, Holly?

Oh Holly! Snow!!!! I am snow envious! Your cupboard is so you and so wonderful to see. Little by little your home is becoming charming beyond belief. I thought of you on a recent visit to my favorite antique mall when I came across a whole set of your childhood dishes. I love when this happens! On to Christmas - E
