Gotta Have My Cute!

My little snow babies love my new cottage drops! I placed the balls in this dish as I was working with them and they looked so cute that I had to do a photo shoot!

But they don't understand why there's no Blue ones! (Sorry babies! Hopefully some Blue ones will be made soon!) I couldn't chose just a couple of the best photos so I loaded them all!

It sure is fun to craft again AND work on my blog! Once I have a higher speed connection (one more week!) I want to give my blog a make over! It's been so long! I also want to have a give away once I decide on the perfect prize!
I've noticed that comments are down on all the blogs. Are we bored? Do we all have slow Internet connections? Are we depressed? Too busy? Whatever the case, I miss hearing from some of you. I think we need encouragement to get through the dreary Winter months. Or at least I do! Just know that I appreciate every 'Hello' that I receive.

You are ALL about the cute! Those snowpeople look like they're having fun with your cottage drops. Imagine the mischief they must get up to while you're sleeping!
I've heard alot of different reasons why blog comments are down. One person said that blogging is on it's way out, but I find that hard to believe. I think we're all just busy with the January cleaning and organizing thing, and come February we'll all be lazy slugs in front of the computer again!

Holly, I've noticed that also. There are days I'll look at my Google Reader and there are only 2, 3 or 5 blogs that post. (I only have about 110 now because I scaled it down to my favorite blogs.) But I have a giveaway ending today and only have about 13 entries! That's pretty pathetic for me.

I think it's just the season mostly. I'm hoping it'll pick back up. But if you haven't entered and are interested then hop on over here and enter. It ends tonight, sugar, and I'd love to be able to send it to a fellow Idahoan! ;-)

xoxo,
Connie

Oooooh, those little fabric balls are darling eye candy, honey!

Dearest Holly, yes, comments are down and I truely think it just because it's a busy time of year and everyone is recovering from Christmas. I know last year it seems they slowed down about this time too. Don't take it personal, we all love you:) I've missed your perky posts on a regular basis and SO excited to hear you are going high speed soon!!! Your snow babies are adorable. Have yourself a perfect day! Twyla

Hi Holly,

Count me as being one of the guilty ones for being terrible at leaving comments on the blogs I visit :(

I know it's terrible of me to not let you or others know that I've been by to visit and I have no good excuse for it other than just being purely lazy and unmotiviated. And you can probably judge that just by how infrequent my own blog posts have become over the past few months. I'm having such a hard time finding fun and new things to blog about and then I end up starting to feel guilty if I don't get something posted which of course puts the pressure back on that I don't want. The pressure that takes the fun out of blogging. Like others have said, Blogland seems to have changed quite a bit over the past several months. Bloggers who were previously blogging very regularly have practially disappeared and rarely post anymore and some have just disappeared altogther with no warning or explanations. I'm in it for the long haul though even if I'm not posting as much as I did in the past. I'm hoping that once the winter doldrums go away, that I'll find myself more motivated to start posting more frequently again.

Just remember sweetie, that even though that I may not leave a comment, you can be sure I stopped by a for a visit to read your cheerful posts and to see what crafty things you've been creating.

Hi again :) I wanted to comment on your part about blogging and comments. I too have noticed a lack in comments on my blog, as well as other bloggers blogging. I sure hope it is just the weather and that people will come back. I lost a lot of readers over the last year :( But I sure do miss everyones sweet comments!!
So glad you are blogging and creating again!

Hey Sweetie! I just wanted to add a comment to cheer you up today. I always visit when I see a new post but I'm guilty of not taking time to say Hi! It's on my list of things I want to spend time on this year so hopefully you will hear from me often.

I love your little snow people!! I haven't noticed the drop in blogging! I visit as many as I can when time permits. I would hope that blogging is not on its way out. I love reading all the beautiful blogs and getting lots of ideas!

Don't worry...your not getting rid of me. From the Princess phone to your cottage drops...it's all good and I simply can't resist coming back and back to you.

I find when my comments are down it's because I have not been to visit others myself. When I visit, all the love comes back to me...triple fold!

Commenting - we all LOVE getting them so we know there is somebody out there reading our posts.

I'm a guilty as anyone when it comes to commenting. Here I am sitting in bed attempting to catch up on my blog reading, there has been so many lately.

Twenty-Eleven is going to be the year of commenting.

Hugs,
Gerry

Hi Holly!
I have some of these too! However, never seen this oh so cute dish! Even though I have all pink mostly for the holidays by mine I add iridescent snowflakes and such! Guess no one would know since my old camera decided it won't release my holidays pics and is holding them hostage!! Talk to you soon, Lori
