More Roses And Dots

This is the back corner of the table in my kitchen that I use as a counter top. Those good ole farm house kitchens are not always real functional on their own! They need help!I displayed the new looking yet vintage napkins and few posts back in THIS POST and now here is the table cloth to match. See how much more Betty must have used it? And they were folded for so long, I still haven't pressed all the wrinkles out. ☺ AKA Not in the mood for ironing much. ☺
As I was arranging the the table, I felt reminded of something I couldn't quite put my finger on and now I know! My Gooseberry Patch cook book! No, I don't really cook but I *DO* use that oil lamp when I have one of my many power outages!

Roses and dots... Red and Aqua. These are the recent themes of my life. I'm linking this post up with Rednesday. Click on link to see more participants.

Good Evening Holly Sweetie...
Oh what a beautiful share this evening. I love this little corner of love in your kitchen. The tablecloth just says "LOVE" all over it. The colors are so pretty. I love the way you added the little books to the back. A gorgeous vignette.

Those oil lamps certainly are handy. I have two that I keep around for that very reason. During monsoon seasons, we have several power outages and they come in SO handy.

Hope you are doing well sweetie. I think of you often. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

I've been waiting to see that tablecloth, and it didn't disappoint. I lurve it! It's the perfect R,W&B. And your oil lamp reminds me of my Grandma's. Every time it stormed even a little bit, the power went out. Hope you don't have to use yours at all this winter!
Happy REDnesday!

Holly sure knows how to roll out the cute. I love your style...cottage home for sure...or should I say, a cottage farm!

Having the time of my life at the shop. Had some men shoppers yesterday, buying for wives and daughters. Pretty cool to see the men stare at the dolls and try to pick one!
