Hi, I'm Holly! Welcome to cutie pie cottage

Hello girls!  Welcome to the craft table! On Tuesday, My Bobby took me up north to the city of Coeur D' Alane for my vein treatment.  I knew there must be some good shops up there so I hopped online and looked.  Oh my!  What a city for antique malls, flea markets and thrift shops!  The first place we went was a huge and wonderful antique mall.  While there, I bought the daisy creamer that matches one of my sets of "mom" dishes.
The second shop was what I call a "guys" antique shop and that's where I found this Humpty Irmi lamp!  I wish I had a pic of my face when I found it! the lampshade is too small so I'm going to see if one of my other ones will work better.
Well now, isn't this new blogger formatting so wonky!?  Ha-ha!  Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon!

Still no firm house news but we're taking that as good news and staying busy and happy.

Did you see my pumpkin party post?  Click on the party link for LOTS of great pumpkin ideas!

Lucky you to find such a cute lamp in what I can the "Mantique" store. I usually don't even linger in the booths that seem to be filled with figural booze cannisters and old farm tools. Maybe I should give them a second look sometime...lol!

Hi Holly,
Hubby and I were in Couer D'Alene last Fall. I found one antique shop and found a few fun items. Your Humpty is darn cute. Did you visit the Mary Jane Farm store? It was pretty fun. Sure was a gorgeous little town. We loved it! Hope you get good house news soon!

This Humpty Dumpy Lamp brings back memories! I used to have a similar one (as a child) and wish my Mom had kept it. Who knew, back then, that I'd love everything vintage and retro when I grew up?! :)
I will keep my fingers crossed for you and the Yellow Cottage becoming your new home. I do believe that its waiting for you to call it your own... :)
Take good care,

I love that lamp! If I found it, I would definitly buy it and put it in my "baby box" that I have been putting together for Hanna's future baby! Can't wait to hear news on the house:-)

Ohmygosh I LOVE the Humpty Dumpty lamp. I wish I would find things like that. I should have my husband make one for me, he could wire it and I could paint it. I was thinking of you yesterday. I was at an antique mall and found a darling little twin bedspread, white chenille with a chenille poodle in aqua, and it was so cute. I made a lowball offer and they took it. I was surprised. I just knew I had to get a picture to you because you would like it too. Was also wondering about the house and still praying for you. I see you haven't heard, so that's good news! Let us know!!!
Hugs and blessings,
