The Race Is On!

Hello friends!  I hope you're all over your Thanksgiving coma and ready to move on to Christmas!  It's almost time for me to move!  Yikes!  I'm packing up a storm over here and going through a mixture of excitement, sorrow, dread, panic, excitement, repeat!  I'm excited to have my own home again but sad to leave the farm.  Bear with me.  Here's one of the bedrooms of the new house (With the sellers belongs.).  The shelving extends all down that wall and continues onto the other wall!  I wish that was in my room!  This is the only room with wood flooring.

Here's an altered stocking I've been working on for my granddaughter.  I finally had to stop because creativity doesn't flow for me when I'm stressed!  I went back to working on button ball garlands which is something I can do without much thought but now all my crafts are packed.

Here I am on Thanksgiving with my trooper boy!  I'm so proud of him!  Are you wondering what possessed me to wear all green?  These are my favorite comfy "fat" clothes. ☺ I was so stressed on T day!  The noise levels about sent me over the edge a few times.  I don't do noise.  I may not post again until after the move but I'll be visiting your blogs on my coffee breaks.  I'm so looking forward to seeing your Christmas posts.  ♥

I am so excited about your move, will be glad when you're settled and can begin to decorate, that's when the fun begins! Your trooper boy is very handsome! Oh BTW, you asked if I primed the red and turquoise chairs before painting and I said no - but actually, the spray paint I used is the 2-in-1 which has the primer and paint in one. Okay, drink some tea and stay calm. Hugs ~ Mary

Holly,
I have been where you are at! Just take it one day at a time, don't look too far forward or you become so overwhelmed! Be sure when the time comes to leave your special place ( the farm) you say goodbye....:) Onto the new challenge!

Wow, imagine all of the goodies that you can put up on that neverending shelf!
So glad you will be in before Christmas. I remember the day we moved into our house, my sister-in-law wanted to help me set up the kitchen, but ALL I wanted to do was decorate!

Nice picture of you and your son. My nephew arrived home from his tour in Afghanistan yesterday, and he's hoping to become a state trooper where he lives, as soon as his military duty is up.
