Oh My Garland! Oh My Garland!

Oh my garland- Clementine!   I just love a good, corny blog post title- don't you?  ☺  I made this button ball garland for my eldest grand girl when it was *her* turn to visit the other day. I let her choose the balls and buttons.  This is for her (soon to be) new room.    Most of the balls were already done so it was quick and easy to string together.  I am really tired from all the visiting but I want to see my 4 little grandies as much as possible before they move away in a couple weeks.  I imagine I will bury myself in crafting and decorating after they go!

PS  Many are asking how I make my garlands.  I hope to do a tutorial some day but basically I just glue tiny strips of fabric to tiny styro-foam balls!

I do love a corny post title. Well done. I also love my garland from you and see it every day across my sewing room window. I took a good look at your kitchen pics the other day and smiled a BIG smile to see the yoyo table runner I made for you. This is why I love swapping.
Spend every minute you can stand with those little ones. Everything else will be there when you have time.

Oops, I guess that picture was in your new dining room, not the kitchen.

I do love a corny post! So fun! I love your garland and have wondered how in the world did you wrap those little balls! So glad you told us to use glue. I am sure that I would have figured it out sooner or later, but now I don't have too. Love your blog and have a wonderful night, Holly
