Hoop Wall Project

Welcome to the adventures of decorating non traditionally!  Hee-hee!  I finally finished my hoop project.  I think!  ☺  I changed the fabric, arrangement and number of hoops soooo many times!  This is NOT a good project if you are a recovering perfectionist and allergic to measuring!  Ha!  But all in all, I'm loving the way my cutie pie dinning room is shaping up!
I already showed you the center hoop with the chenille the other day.  Here's some close ups of the others.
I wrapped each hoop rim with strips of fabric.
I hot glued my yo yos and a button on 2 of them.
But others have little chicks? on them.  ☺  These two hoops are twins.  Don't ask me why.  ☺
I used pearl headed stick pins for my hanging and now the wall is full of pin holes but that's much better than nail holes-right?!  They will be easy to paint over.
This last fabric is my favorite.  I wish I had more of it.

Next on the agenda is to add some pot holders to my window treatment in the kitchen and then I might attempt decorating the living room.  The living room is the guy's room so I'm kind of scared!  ;)
Thanks for joining me on this decorating journey!

It looks so cute. And pin holes are very easy to hide. I have lots of trouble getting wall groupings to look right, too. Let's just say that wall putty is one of my best friends. ;-)

Such darling cutefulness! I love how it looks, especially that the hoop formation is in the shape of a flower. Have you ever used those Command Strips? They're my new best friend, because I'm always changing things on the walls and got tired of patching nail holes!

Oh, I agree - the cherry fabric is my favorite, too. I just bought a dozen or so hoops at a yard sale last weekend. You have inspired me!

It's very cute the way your have them! I also like how you've covered the rims with fabric. Nice touch! I hang a LOT of stuff on my walls using pins. I learned to do that in California. For anything you think might be a wee heavy for ONE pin, just add two or three. It doesn't leave much of a hole, and takes just a dab of paint to cover. Sometimes just smoothing it over with your finger is good too. Great idea!!!!!

Love it so cute!

Question: What do you put between your pyrex bowls to lift them up like they are?
