I Made Curtains!

*For the first time ever* I made curtains!  I bought a vintage sheet from the thrifts, cut it up the middle and a bit off the bottom and hemmed it with fabric glue!  I then glued each panel to the cream colored panel that was already hanging there!  I'm so proud of myself!  No measuring or sewing!
Aw!  Don't they make the dinning room look so airy and sweet?  Below is a sellers pic of their style.  I knew those dark drapes would have to go!  I loved burgundy in the 90s but not now.

I actually would like some chairs like they had but I like *my* dinning room much better.  ☺
Here's a close up up the fabric- except in real life, the yellow is less gold.  I'm so proud of myself!  Do they hang straight?  No.  Will they wash well?  Um... we'll worry about that when the time comes!

I'm off to the chiropractor today and when I come home I hope to see lots of *pats on the back* comments in my inbox to moderate!  Hee-hee!  I need my girls!

I'm linking up to the Knock Our socks Off party and The Vintage Sheet Blog!

Holly, You're so funny! Just love what your did. Vintage sheets are great for so many things, even using on the bed, lol. :)

I can't sew so I love the fabric glues, etc. Bet you can wash them on mild and hang out to dry.

Your dining room puts the "cute" in "Cutie Pie Cottage"! Hugs, Pam

This is a dumb question but.. did you glue the fabric on top or all over? I love how it came out. I need something like that for my bedroom.
