Flowers And Finds

Dreamy soft blue melamine and milk glass from the Salvation Army.  I love thrifty vintage finds!
Pansies in tiny vases on my kitchen window sill.  I ♥ pansies and Johnies.
$8.00 pink thermos splurge from my antique mall.  I had never seen a pink thermos before.  I need to do my part to support local business!  Right?!
This is what I have hanging on my front door right now.  This is my first time to put real flowers in this sconce and they are doing just fine!
I was thrilled to finally find 2 large plates to add to my Alpine Chalet "mom" dishes!  See the size difference?  These were at The salvation Army along with more small plates.
This is my little Alpine Chalet display corner in my kitchen.  I'm really tired of navy blue but I love the light blue in these dishes.
These are the types of lilacs I have here at the new place.  This pic was taken on the little iron table on my front porch.  Did you know that lilacs keep well outside if it's cool?  The ones I have in the house wilt so fast.

Thanks for coming by!  I hope you're all feeling your blessings more than your trials!

I'm linking up for Junkin Joes at the Cottage Market!

Love your photos of your finds and your flowers. That mixed-color lilac is so pretty, well, both of them are. We can't grow lilacs in our area, so I love looking at them. Thanks for giving us a peek!

I don't think lilacs would do well out here..........period. We do get a few nights of freezing during the winter, but 70 degrees during the day in winter time hardly qualify as cool. Lot's of neato finds girlfriend.

Hugs,
Meri

My Grandma had a couple of those Alpine plates, so I've got a soft spot for them, and pick them up when I see them, which is rare. Love all of those pansies too. They almost seem to have little faces, and they always make me smile!

Holly, I just realized that your Alpine dish collection is the same one I grew up with. For some reason, I did not connect it until now and oh...you've made me so happy. Another link to my past.

I love your new life in the new house. It's exciting to hear about all the good things happening and you have found your happy spot. I'm happy when you are happy!
