It's A Banner Day!

Heather from Vintage Grey made this pendant banner for me!
I just love it!

I asked her if she would want to do a swap with me-
One of my button ball garlands for a banner and she said yes!
After MUCH consideration, I decided to hang the banner on my porch!
Guess what?  It's not easy to take good porch pics!
Too dark- too light- flash in the window, neighbors thinking I'm silly...
I love my little sitting area!
Bobby and I have coffee dates here and I do handy work or read here, too.
I haven't finished the porch yet.  (Will I ever?)
This last pic shows what I usually edit out- the electric meter!
Why oh why did they put it there?
I want to put a fake dogwood tree in front of it if
I can find one for a good deal.

I snapped these pics while I knew the neighbors were all gone!
I'm feeling less shy while outside but it's not the same as being in the country.
Thanks for coming by!

I love your front porch! It looks like a country porch whether it's in the country or not. The bunting Heather made is so pretty. I'll be surprised if those neighbors aren't drawn right on over by that inviting porch and want to visit with you! Twyla

Love your nice big porch. I'm sure there will be much more "decorating" there in the future. I know what you mean about the neighbors. I rarely go outside. I always think they are all watching me. We do have one guy who stands outside his garage to smoke and is always there!! I realize the neighbors have better things to do than watch me but I have always had this problem where ever we have lived. Enjoy your blog muchly.

What an adorable banner!! It looks just right on your cute front porch!! I love porches, and though I have a small one, it's just not the same thing as your pretty one. ;)

Hi Holly! Oh, I just love your sweet banner. The little rose on one of them - is it stitched, or part of the fabric? Waaaaay cute! I think you could put a fake birdhouse on the front of that meter and everyone would think it's a bird house! LOL! Your porch is awesome! It's on my "someday" list. Oh, my poor husband!

Your banner looks so sweet on your porch! I grew up in the country and always feel the need to close the blinds here in the suburbs. The neighbors could see right in from their upstairs rooms. Takes awhile to get used. I am lucky though, I like them all. :)

so cute Holly. love your banner. sometimes I wish my porch was open instead of enclosed. I love to sit out there, but sometimes it gets too hot with all those windows, sort of like a green house, wven when the windows are open!
anyways.. you little home is Lovely!
have a sweet sunday!

Love your porch, Holly. It has so much potential. I can't wait to see what you do with it at Christmas!

Still at Farm Chicks. Heading over this morning for one last round. I spent about 45 minutes at the tablecloth table yesterday. I had to drag myself away!

I'v e never seen your garlands before, those are so cute!
The bunting your friend made is really pretty and looks great above your porch window. Blog friends are so awesome!
I take my pictures in the back yard so my neighbors don't usually see me. But sometimes I have to take pictures in the front to get a bigger brick background and they look at me strange. One asked me if I was documenting my stuff for insurance purposes. I smiled and said "that's a good idea!"

I still have to take a picture of your garland hanging up on my little window, it's so dang cute! Have a lovely week pretty lady.

Your banner looks perfect displayed on the porch and who cares if the neighbors catch you taking pictures of it? LOL! They are probably jealous of your banner and now they want one of their own. Your house is darling.

I just love your home and the banner is super precious! I do believe that buntings are one of my favorite things! Maybe the Mary Poppins song should be changed to include buntings...buntings in cottages and whiskers on kittens????what do you think lol!!!! hugs...
