I'm A Northern Girl!

I picked up a couple Northern tissue girl prints by  Frances Hook at the GW!  I'll sell this one above but keep the next one.
I've always loved these and especially this snow girl because she reminds me of little me!
When I showed the FH print to my eldest son he thought it *was* me.  Ha-ha!
My mom was an artist and he thought my mom made it!

I just love little 4 year old Holly.  Does that sound strange to you?  Did you know that my dad abandoned me (and my siblings) after I was born?  I was the baby of 4 children and that poor, cute little girl grew up without a daddy and a very, very busy mommy.  I feel I owe it to little Holly to love her extra since she had so little love in her childhood and teens.  Thankfully, I married a man who adores me and the Lord has used him to heal so much hurt in my life.

Your love helps me, too.  Thanks for being here.

Oh God love you, I'm sorry about your dad but thankful for your Mom who kept it all together! Now personally, I would have to keep both the cards as they are seriously gorgeous - and yes you are the spitting image of the 2nd one.

Oh Holly, so sorry. Hugs. Your Dad must have had a huge hurt in him too. Happy hearts don't walk away from families.
You were a darling little girl, that is for sure.

I don't think that is strange. I think it is WONDERFUL!! Little Holly is adorable!

My mom had some of those prints of the Northern Girls and one of them looked just like my sister. I do think my sister has them now.

Those prints are just sweet, Holly. We don't have Northern tissue upmhere in Canada but I've seen it advertised, you sure are a twin to the little girl.

I have always love these images....You are a little Northern Girl...you could have modeled for that print! :) My childhood wasn't pleasant either dear Holly...maybe thats why we like to pamper our little girls. Its wonderful that you feel very loved now...as I do too. God can fix our broken lives...I am so thankful to him. People can and will fail us,but Jesus never will...he promised to never leave us or forsake us....what a blessing. Have a wonderful week dear friend.

You are a little doll Holly, Precious post, I never knew all that you shared here. I agree, God has a way of making up for and filling all the empty places in our hearts... He fills them with more than we ever dreamed...like sweet sweet husbands and precious children. He's so good like that. God Bless you!
Big Hugs :)
