Tricks And Trades

Look what I TRADEd a rag ball garland for!  Eeeks! It's an Irmi switch plate!  I traded with Harriette from Look at The Birdie!  She also included a little dish cloth she made.  I love crochet dish cloths.  Thanks again for trading with me, Harriette!
If anyone else wants to trade for vintage goods, let me know!
Now here's my TRICK.  I'm trying to make a valance out of my Wilendur cherry table cloth!  GULP!
I never did  put it on my table and always kept it folded away so why not cut into it?  If I could take it back- I would but it's too late now!  Wish me luck!
I'm going to have the hubs remove that higher up hardware- bringing the valances lower and then... go from there.

I have another trade to show you soon!

Hey Holly!
Great trade and that valance will be a beautiful trick. You will probably have enough ,eft over to make a matching tablerunner. Hope your back feels better too. I haven't pulled it for a long while. Just pushed a wheelchair in gravel when I shud've pulled. Oh well. Can't wait to see you at my party. You can copy my little banner in the post and paste on your sidebar to let others know you attend and spread the word 8)

I LOVE that you're making such great use out of your tablecloth! Too many people hide them away in cabinets and it's such a waste!

It does look very cute Holly, though I admit my heart clutched when I read the word "cut", lol.

I've cut a few of mine too, the idea is to enjoy them, whether using or repurposing.
