Candy Corn Cornucopia

I painted a candy corn cornucopia!  Try saying that 3 times- or even once!
Ever painted wicker?  I've been painting on this baby for days!  No matter which way you turn it- it's patchy!  Ha!  Oh well.  My wrists say it's done!
Scrappy was like, "Here, mom, I'll pose with it and make it look better!"
Then he said, "No wait- I'll get *IN* the cornucopia!  That will work- right?"

Oh silly Scrappy!

Well I think that's it for my fall crafting.  I had the house to myself today so I started my Christmas crafting and had a big ole crafting to oldies day!  Yahooey!

Thanks for coming by!

Look at your little Scrappy hiding up inside a very Halloween-ish cornucopia- too cute! I assume you painted by hand, what a job that must have been, whew. But it looks great, just like a candy corn. BTW I've so far refused to buy any because I know I will eat them by the fistful.

P.S. Tell Scrappy I like him. A lot.

What a cute idea for a cornucopia Holly! I've painted wicker and it's just amazing how much you have to keep painting and painting, lol. Worth it ~ so sweet! :) Pam

Such a cute idea! I see those plain old cornucopias all the time at the thrift stores. And yes, painting wicker is horrible unless you spraypaint it, and even that way takes forever!

Scrappy looks so happy. I hear you about painting wicker. It is one royal pain. Worth it though for this cute project. Love it!
