It's Beginning!

Guess what I'm doing?  I just couldn't wait!  Even my boys are excited!
It takes me weeks to put all the Christmas up so I'm getting a head start!  I can hardly wait to hang my wreath on the front porch inside my white frame!  I'm going to try a lit star in the middle so my neighbors can see it at night. I was having trouble with the balls falling off every time I moved the wreath so I've kept my hot glue ready. Some of the balls are breakable and some are not so I really don't want them smashing all over the porch!
Here's my oldest boy who turns 32 tomorrow.  He's the sweetest uncle to my grand puppy.  She loves him to pieces!  Between the birthday and Thanksgiving, it will be a busy week for me so I'll see you all after!!

I made a wreath with vintage balls a few years back and had that same trouble...the balls kept falling off..maybe a different glue would work better. Can't wait to see your Christmas home all decked out. Happy Birthday to your handsome young man....blessings

I love the drawer full of bulbs. :-) I hope none of the balls on your wreath break! It took too much hard work to make it! I will wait til the day after Thanksgiving to put any Christmas decor out, and then it will take me 3-5 days to get it all set up the way I want it. Right now I'm cleaning furiously, getting our house ready for Thanksgiving company and for all the Christmas decor after that.

My non-vintage Christmas balls keep falling off my wreath, too, they don't all seem to make it through from one season to the next, so the hot glue gun is part of our Christmas decorating. Your son looks very nice and the pupster, too, tell them both hello from Virginia :)
