Sometimes when I'm crafting, I just have to stop and have a little photo shoot!

The rag ball that is front and center is made out of the same fabric that my yo yo "doily" is made out of.
I love it!
It reminds me of Cath Kidston.

I'm going to MAKE myself get out of the house every day this week because the winter blues are trying to get a hold on me!
I don't like to get out when it's below freezing and icy/snowy but I NEED to!

Hope you're all making it through the winter somehow, too!
Hang in there!

It does remind one of CK! Will you go with me to London so we can stock up on her beautiful things?! Yes, getting out of the house daily is my one last link with winter-time sanity :)

That shot makes me think of gardens and Spring!
We're having lots of subzero days this winter, but I go outside anyway, just because I love to be outside and I've decided NOT to let Mother Nature push me around! It was 6 below this morning, but I dug another path to the birdfeeders so I could refill them. I pay for it though, because I feel like I can't get warm all day long!

How pretty! I for one am glad that you stopped for the photo! January and February have always been so hard for me to not get depressed. My house is coated in dust!! I need some sunshine to clean. Get out and find some cute things to share with us again! :)

Good for you on forcing yourself to get out. We had sun today. The weatherman said we've only had 3 days of sun in nearly a month. It's definitely been a very very long winter. Dreaming of spring pastel colors!

Beautiful picture, Holly! I am feeling the winter blues, too. We've been below freezing for the last week and we have snow and ice on the ground. I miss my traveling! Twyla

I really like getting out of the house on the weekends, especially since I work from home. There is only so much of these 4 walls that a person can take! LOL! Hope you found something FUN to do!

It's good to have a plan to keep the blues away!

Yep, you really do need to get out. When I lived in Minnesota I used to get so melancholy in the winter...It didn't help that there was not much sunshine either. Thank you for your vote of confidence...Maybe one day i will be hip lol!

I don't know how all of you who live in cold/freezing weather do it. I can't imagine being cooped up inside the house more than a few hours.

Hang in there - spring must be coming soon.

I've missed visiting you Holly! I just love your hutch. It's so cheery! You can come visit me! I think it's going to be in the 90's tomorrow! Palm Springs is warming up! And my classroom air conditioner broke today!
