Spring Green!

I'm just in from my sunny porch and all the birds were singing!
Yay!
There's no green outside yet so I thought I'd bring a little bit to you!

I've had this afghan since 1971.
My step dad's mother made it for me and I chose the colors.
The canister was my MIL's.
She had a counter full of them in all different sizes and somehow, I ended up with one.

Spring's a comin', friends!
Hang in there!

Little ducks and daisies and green things sure do make me wish for spring! :-) How sweet that you still have this special afghan. One of my friends made a pastel rainbow ripple afghan for me for high school graduation (eons ago) but we used it so much and washed it so many times it finally started to fall apart.

I had a yellow, green and white daisy afghan my grandmother made for me. I have no idea what happened to it.

I hope you have green and yellow outside soon.

Thank you for bringing some hope that Spring will come. I starting pulling out spring/Easter crafting supplies. Last night, we had freezing rain and now we have blowing/drifting snow from our mountains of snow. If anything, the girls are enjoying their own figure skating Olympics on our backyard rink.

That canister is so sweet. I've seen one just like it at one of the antique malls I visit. Just can't remember which one! I can't wait for Spring too, Holly :-)
