Vintage Happy!

I've named my little booth, Vintage Happy!
(Booth is in Moscow ID- Sorry- No shipping)
My sweetie hung up a fall rag ball garland for me.
Here's my 1/2 booth showing my neighbor's side,too.
I had so much fun decorating my space for fall!
See my awesome table?  I enjoyed sitting there and making price tags the other day.  :)
That thermos looked lonely so I made a display there after I took these pics.

Thanks for coming by!

Loving My Booth!

I've had a booth for 2 months now and I just love it!
Sales slowed down when school let out but hopefully vacationers will be new shoppers!

This dish drainer sold right away so I had to hurry and get a different one down there!
I love selling vintage memories.

I've upcycled and made a few items to add to the booth.
They haven't sold but that's okay because they make my booth look pretty and cute.
I hope you're having a great summer!
Thanks for coming by!

Booth Pics

Hello blog friendies!
I still haven't filled my booth all the way cuz stuff is flying off the shelves!
I kind of wish I could have blocked it off till it was full and then had a big reveal but oh well!

I love "fluffing" my booth!
The timing is so right for me on this.
I believe in chasing your dreams but I also believe in perfect timing.

One of my fears in showing you pics is that you'll see something you gave me!
There was a day when I thought I'd remember where all my treasures came from but honestly, there are some things that I have *NO* memory acquiring!  So if you see something you gave me, just know I appreciated it at the time.

Thanks for coming by and remember that I'm on fb now, too!

Moving Day One

I started moving into my new booth space yesterday!  It looks so much better in person. It's going to take practice to get the lighting right in my pics.  I had so much fun!  It was "smalls and walls" day.  Remember I said it's just half a booth?  Below is a "before" pic which includes the previous vendor's stuff and my neighbor's half.

Quite the contrast- right?

I'll be bringing in more merch in the following days and decorating more so stay tuned!

Movin' On Up!

My little space at the antique mall has done so well!  I've already made a good profit and the month isn't even over!  My back is also doing so well that I'm very encouraged-

SO encouraged that I'm moving up to a bigger space!  I'm so excited that I hardly slept last night!

I had planned for a booth for years but then gave up because of my health issues so this is like a resurrection dream come true.
Instead of a large bookcase, I'll have a 10x5 FT space with one very high wall.  It's sort of half a booth.
I can start moving in close to the end of the month.
It might not be quite full at first but I'll get it that way and I want it to be very colorful and cute!

Rest assured I'll be posting pics!

Fear of rejection has been my life long "curse" so this is a HUGE step for me!
Any tips from buyers or sellers are welcome!

Yo Yo Rag Garlands!

I'm making garlands with teeny yo yos and rag strips tied between!  Isn't this one cute?  I made one for my booth but made one to sell online, too.  If this one sells, I'll string up another!  This one is done up in primary colors with mostly vintage fabrics and is 5 FT long.  I plan on making some with larger yo yos also.

Hope you all had a good Mother's Day!

More Pics Of My Mall Space

If you missed my last post, I'm a dealer at my antique mall now!
It took me a while to accept the fact that my back won't let me handle/sell large items but now I'm completely content with my medium and smalls!
I love my little space- it's right by the side emergency exit door so I can park there and haul my items right in!
I hung items on the side of my case in hopes of catching the eye of passers by.
See my # 10?
I hope to add more special touches in the coming days.
I'm just getting over a cold and sinus infection so I was limited in what I could do.
Did you hear I made a sale my first hours of being open.  Yay!
This is my first time to "work" outside the home since the 90s so it's a big step for me but a FUN step!
Wish me luck!

Display Case #10!

Guess what?!  I've rented a very large book case for display/selling at my antique mall!  These are some of the cute price tags I made for it!

I've planned on having a booth for years but have finally had to let that plan go because of my back challenges.

I want my case to be cute and pretty but will also want to fit as much on it as possible. It will be a fun challenge for me!  I load everything on my shelves May 1rst.
Wish me luck!

Treasure Hunting Day!

Last Saturday, I  was (finally) bitten by the treasure hunting bug again.  (I go through phases.)
I drove 2 towns over to the WSU mom's weekend sale...  (A big adventure for me!)

I found lots of smalls and this recipe box was my fav.
It's just like the one my mom had.
I've been waiting for years to find one locally.

This round canister from the 50s is so unique!
After the moms sale, I hit lots of other shops there and here at home!  I was on a roll!

It was raining so I sat in my van at a park and had a little picnic.

These cups are now in my forest chic bedroom holding jewelry and junk.

Finally found some red Lustoware canisters.
The lettering has seen better days!

When I first saw this cherry fabric I thought it was a tablecloth but it turned out to be just enough fabric to drape over my large living room window!  (Only 5 bucks!)

Yup, I know it's not even- yet.

It was a fun day of treasure hunting and now I'm broke so I better get back to crafting!  Ha-ha!
Thanks for coming by!

Candy Land!

Bobby found a vintage Candy Land game at the the thrifts!
Well- almost.
It's a reproduction but I don't care!
It's been well played so it seems vintage.
This is the board I remember from my childhood and I've wanted one for years.
The ice cream floats was always my favorite section.

I plan on hanging the board on my craft room wall and scanning and copying the game cards for crafting.

Hope you're all doing well!
Idaho didn't really have a winter.
It's like the whole west coast has a dome over it!
I'm sorry for those of you who are really feeling it.
Hang in there.  Spring always comes.
