It's Still Christmas At The Cottage!

If any of you are missing Christmas- it's over here!  It's Christmas at the cottage until February!  Why not?

If you're one of those people who can't wait to get it all put away and have the house back to normal, then good for you but if you feel sad taking it down and feel sad afterward then leave it up!   Time goes by so fast now.  I left all the Christmas decor up until the Super Bowl last year and it cheered January right up!  By the time I took it down, I was ready to move on and NO sadness!

In other news, I'm still making yo yo elves and starting to work on Valentine craft to sell.

Merry Christmas!

Good for you on extending Christmas. There's a reason why I have a year-round tree up. We'll be getting it converted over to Chinese New Year and Valentines. Happy creating!!

Sweet idea Holly! We could all use some help with the winter doldrums. :)

I still have some up! Plus my snow people and mitten decorations but my main tree had to go as it was a real one and got super dry! Love your Christmas-ey home! Maggie

I have a friend who has a decorated Christmas tree in her house all year round.

I started my Valentine frenzy yesterday - so many ideas for different hearts.

Love that you love Christmas and keep it up
longer. Actually Christmas just starts on
Christmas Day. All else is preparation. We
just undid the church and I'll probably finish
taking mine down today. I'm slow putting up
and slow taking down. Julia

It's hard to put all the things we love in storage. Just wait until you are ready.

I'm with you, Holly! I've always said taking down the tree is the saddest job. Ours is still up and with it getting dark so early, I enjoy the Christmas tree lights in the evenings. Twyla

I love the extended Christmas! I'm never ready for all the festivities and celebration to be over. I think I'll put up a tree in my craft room next year so I can leave it up as long as I want. And I love the idea of having a tree up year round to decorate for each holiday!
